Transformers: Dark of the Moon, an original title that will serve as a prologue to Michael Bay’s upcoming film of the same name, is currently under development at High Moon Studios. I’m pretty sure I just heard Stephen “Transformers Lover” Johnson squeal with joy.
“The immensely talented group at High Moon Studios are huge fans of the property” said Paul Wright, Activision head of marketing for licensed properties Paul Wright, “and they are thrilled to unveil some new characters from the movie while introducing Stealth Force gameplay that lets players convert to a third form beyond robot and vehicle modes to defeat their enemies in more ways than ever before.”
The game will unfold over various locations around the world including South American jungles, a Siberian military base, the streets of Detroit, and others. The wildly popular multiplayer from Transformers: War for Cybertron returns, but we don’t have any specifics on the modes or maps just yet.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, and 3DS sometime before the film's July 1 release.
